Role and profile
Paul Bennett is the Associate Professor at the Deakin – Southern Health Nursing Research Centre. Paul’s main role is to provide research leadership for the Southern Health-Deakin partnership. Current areas of Southern Health research are nursing governance, nephrology nursing and self management.
Teaching responsibilities
Paul is Unit Chair of Leadership and Management in Nursing HNN715.
Research interests
Paul’s research focus is around exercise, nutrition and self management, particularly for people living with chronic kidney disease. Other areas of recent published scholarship have been technological intimacy, health and educational technologies, nursing workforce, paired academic peer review and interprofessional education. In the past five years Associate Professor Bennett has been the recipient of two teaching, two research and three industry awards.
