Narelle Tsiros, a registered nurse whilst rotating as a student through labour and postnatal care wards, completed studies in lactation / infant feeding, and contemporary midwifery practice with Deakin University’s Professional Development Unit (PDU).

Despite living far from tertiary education providers in the Northern Territory, Johnny Hooper is able to study with Deakin University by distance education, accessing PDU learning packages from home.
