Role and profile
Sophie is a Lecturer at Deakin University and is primarily involved in the co-ordinator of placement for the postgraduate professional training program in Industrial/Organisational Psychology. Sophie started with Deakin in May 2009 and prior to this worked in a similar role at The University of Melbourne.

Research interests
Sophie is primarily concerned with investigating work placements with the aim of with the aim of enhancing the student experience, student engagement, learning outcomes, links to graduate employability and the transition to the workplace. The role of emotions in learning within the placement context is also of interest.
