Dr Jaclyn Broadbent is a lecturer with expertise in the area of Health Psychology. She teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and also supervises postgraduate students. Dr Jaclyn Broadbent is unit Chair for HBS110 health Behaviour.

Research Interests
Dr Jaclyn Broadbent is interested in the mechanisms underlying healthy behaviour choices. In particular, what antecedents play a role in decision making that leads to engaging in unhealthy behaviour, and what protective mechanisms do people have in place that help them resist engaging in this behaviour.
Other research areas include:
· Perseverative behaviour in Autistic spectrum disorders, how this translates to observable behaviour and how it can be modified.
· The role of Depression and anxiety in children with chronic pain.
