Role and profile
Dr Casey is a Senior Research Fellow in clinical forensic psychology in the School of Psychology. Her primary role is associated with the provision of research and training services for the Singapore Prison Service and the Singapore Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports. Dr Casey also holds an ARC Linkage grant (with Corrective Services New South Wales) examining the impact of drug treatment modality, coercion and treatment readiness on criminal recidivism.
Research Interests
A member of the Clinical Forensic Research Group in The Forensic Psychology Centre, Dr Casey’s research interests include offender rehabilitation (particularly in relation to substance abuse), treatment readiness, psychometrics and evidence-based assessment, program evaluation, and juvenile justice.
