Role and profile
Vanessa Sturre is a Lecturer and Placement Coordinator within the School of Psychology with specific expertise in organisational psychology. Vanessa manages the placement program for the Masters of Industrial and Organisational Psychology course which ensures post graduate students obtain practical and valuable experience in the field. She teaches and supervises students at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Research Interests
Vanessa has vast expertise in the field of applied industrial and organisational psychology. She has worked in consultancies for over 10 years, across a broad range of roles and projects. Being new to Deakin University, Vanessa is now looking to apply knowledge from her consulting career to effectively teach, place and lead students. Her research interests include employee engagement, the use of psychometric tests in development/recruitment and maximising placement experiences and future employability for students.
