Deakin University’s Faculty of Health is one of the fastest growing health faculties in Australia. Across five schools we inspire students to reach their potential, provide personal, dynamic learning experiences and conduct world-class research.
Faculty students and researchers have access to the most advanced equipment available in the sports, nutrition, medicine and health fields. Highlights include:
Mentors for first-year students
University life can be a little daunting, which is why we offer every first-year Faculty of Health student a peer mentor.
Peer mentors are second or third-year students who'll introduce you to support services and help you understand the requirements of your course. They also provide you with a great way to meet new people from within your own course.
School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences
This school is the only university department in Australia that brings nutrition and physical activity together in both its teaching and research.
