Ms Helen LarkinLecturer, School of Health and Social Development, Faculty of Health
Helen is a lecturer in the occupational science and therapy program at the Geelong Waterfront Campus. Prior to commencing this role in 2005, Helen worked for over 30 years in a range of occupational therapy clinical, management and consultancy positions with a particular interest in the area of disability and related research.
At Deakin, Helen teaches primarily into level three of the occupational therapy program and also has teaching responsibilities at other year levels and other units within the Faculty of Health. Helen also teaches into level one and two units within the School of Architecture, where the focus is on built environments and their role in promoting communities that are welcoming and inclusive of people with diverse abilities.
