Lecturer (Teaching and Learning)

Dr Leanne Ngo is a Lecturer in Teaching and Learning within the Faculty of Business and Law. Dr Ngo has held previous positions as a Teaching and Learning Consultant within the Institute of Teaching and Learning, and as Lecturer within the School of Information Technology. 

Dr Ngo’s higher education research interests in curriculum and pedagogy in higher education include:

  • Assurance of learning process for curriculum design and development of course-wide mapping and alignment of program learning goals, unit learning objectives, teaching and learning activities with assessment tasks and measures of assessment;
  • Exploring the potential of learning analytics and Learning Management Systems to provide evidenced based information for curriculum design and development;
  • e-Assessment practices;
  • Developing, embedding and assessing Graduate Attributes and skills;
  • Appropriately integrating new and emerging technologies such as mobile, Web 2.0, and digital media in curriculum and teaching;
  • Design and development of cross platform delivery of new and interactive media rich teaching and learning resources; and
  • Inclusive design and development practices in the online, mobile, blended and distance learning environments.
