It's important to get engaged while at university. Not only will this make your time as a student more enjoyable, it will also help you to learn more. This page has some ideas to help you engage with your studies, with Deakin staff and students and in activities that will assist your learning and enjoyment of study.
The Australasian Survey of Student Engagement (The AUSSE) gives you the opportunity to provide feedback to Deakin about your experience as a student. It gives you a voice in proposing changes and highlighting what works and what doesn't across the university. Responses to the AUSSE provide the university with a picture of what you think about your course, units, teachers and university. So if you get the opportunity to complete the AUSSE, think about having your say and contributing to making things better for yourself and other students. The AUSSE contains the Student Engagement Questionnaire (SEQ).
Find out more about the SEQ by reading the AUSSE Overview (59 KB).
