Social Work Alumni Chapter

Welcome to the alumni website of the School of Health and Social Development, Social Work Chapter - membership of Deakin University's Social Work Alumni Chapter is open to all social work graduates.

Our alumni are possibly our most treasured resource; you are not merely the output of an educational production process. You are one of our critical connections with the ‘real world’. In recent reviews of our research and teaching programmes we have found consistently that alumni are important to us in many ways: your growing practical expertise is sometimes lacking in academe. Your access to professional networks is of unrivalled importance to next-generation alumni. Regular contact with alumni will keep Deakin sharp in developing innovative, responsive and relevant research and teaching.

Conversely, you are to benefit from maintaining regular contact with the School and your fellow alumni, for both social and professional reasons. This website offers a range of facilities that might be helpful to you. Use them, and do give us feedback on how we are doing.
