Universities for health: Improving wellbeing for all communities
Program
The Symposium is structured along different themes for the day.
- We will explore “Holistic notions of community engagement: Relevance to higher education’. Presentations and discussions will relate to expanding current conceptualizations of community engagement as they relate to national protocols for Universities and third stream funding models. Later that afternoon we will also explore the implementation of cutting edge community engagement models in current practice through the theme “Practice Perspectives: Implementing community capacity building in higher education”.
Discussion groups across the program will aim to discuss, test and then formulate recommendations for good practice for institutions and governments.
An expert panel will discuss the implications of incorporating health and wellbeing outcomes for higher education in the application of National Protocols and third stream funding.
