Benefits of strength training

There are many well known benefits of strength training, including:

  2. Increased muscle strength and tone
  3. Healthier weight
  4. Stronger bones
  5. Improved flexibility, balance and posture
  6. Improved mood and increased energy

 
Many of our participants have told us how their strength training has improved their quality of life. They are now able to lift and play with their grandchildren; carry their shopping to the car and find it is easier to walk up stairs to their local library.
