Metabolic Research Unit - MRU
The Metabolic Research Unit has strong links to a number of Australian and international biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. The MRU's most significant commercial partner is ChemGenex Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology and drug development company with operations in Australia and the USA. ChemGenex has a long term relationship with the MRU, dating from 1996, and over recent years has provided more than $2 million of research funding per year.
