The Deakin University Leadership in Nursing awards is an annual event that recognises inspiring nurses who have contributed to the profession and benefited the public by improving health service delivery, capacity and/or policy. Are you, or do you know such a nurse leader? Apply now or send a link to an outstanding nurse leader:

  • MC for the evening is Julie McCrossin (pdf 20k), radio broadcaster, TV personality and journalist
  • Guest dinner speaker, Ms Lyn Swinburne (pdf 20k), CEO of Breast Cancer Network Australia
  • Winners announced on the night
  • A number of prizes including $20,000 awarded to a nurse who has contributed to the profession and benefited the public by improving clinical practice, health service delivery and/or policy
