The Mental Health and Well Being Research cluster is unique in that its primary focus is on addressing issues of improved mental health interventions for people currently excluded from the system of care.  Our mission is to be international leaders and to enhance mental health and wellbeing within the broad community through our research.  A large proportion of our research and research training is focused on mental health outcomes for people outside of the mainstream, targeting those much less likely to access treatment and at risk of chronic and severe mental ill health.  Another dimension of the cluster’s work focuses on mental health and wellbeing within the general population, including clinical interventions and evaluations in partnership with mental health service providers.
