The University provides staff induction at the university-wide level via our On-line Induction Program and at a local level through managers and supervisors.
University-Wide Induction
The university-wide On-line Induction Program provides information about Deakin to assist in your understanding
of Deakin's goals and strategies and to introduce you to a number of important services, systems, policies
and procedures.
New fixed term and continuing staff will be invited via email to commence the induction program, shortly after commencing employment at Deakin. The program is designed for progressive completion over the first three months of employment.
Local Induction
Your manager and/or supervisor will provide an introduction to the local work area and the requirements of the position. Should you have any questions during the course of your induction you should discuss these with your supervisor.
