As part of the People, Culture and Change focus of the 2008-2012 Strategic Plan (5 MB) the University is committed to ensuring professional staff are recognised for their expertise and are provided with the opportunity to achieve the highest level of professional standards. To support this commitment, the University is providing opportunities for professional growth, development and career planning for professional staff in, or aspiring to, leadership and management roles within the University.
The People, Culture and Change Professional Leadership Development Programs focus on three core areas:
An individuals' potential and their ability to participate in the programs will be identified through the Performance Planning and Review (PPR) process and included in faculty and divisional staff management plans (workforce plans) where succession needs have been identified.
These programs will provide a learning environment that promotes the development of the identified capabilities and behaviours at levels of depth and sophistication directly relevant to the individual needs of the target cohort.
