Please be advised that applications for the Vice-Chancellor Professional Development Award 2013 will open in October 2012.
This change will see that the awarded funds are dispersed in alignment with the Human Resource Division budget. Applications will be sought the same way in future years and will continue to run annually.
Applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application prior to the Christmas shut down period. Award recipients will then have until Friday 1 November, 2013 to seek reimbursement for the approved development activity.
Important note: each application will be considered on its merits; the benefits to the University, the applicants Performance Planning and Review Plan results and other relevant factors. Applications may be partially or fully funded subject to the number and quality of applications. Funding allocations are restricted and the total amount awarded will vary from year to year. Subject to the quality of applications and funding, not all applications will be successful. If an applicant is not awarded, they can reapply in subsequent years.
