ICT initiative submission & approval process

eSolutions provide a range of standard services to the University, which are documented in the IT Service Catalogue. If a request relates to planned work to be undertaken in relation to any of these services, or relates to the restoration of a current service, then please contact the IT Service Desk.

The ICT initiative submission & approval process is used to act on requests for IT services that are outside of eSolutions normal or planned service provision. If a request requires new developments for a current service, or is not related to current services then it may require a task or project to deliver the change.

Regardless of the funding source, eSolutions must be involved in the planning, design and implementation of initiatives that are likely to impact the ICT environment of the University.

If you are unsure whether your request is covered by our planned service provision or needs to be facilitated through this process, please contact eSolutions project requests. Further information about the governance of projects and approval process can be found at the Deakin Portfolio Office (DPO) website.

  • update and submit the project registration form.
