DUELI fees

You'll need to pay your fees to Deakin before you enrol and come along to your course's orientation. Ideally, we'd prefer payments via credit card or made online.

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

OSHC is health insurance for international students who are studying in Australia. It can help you meet the costs of any medical or hospital care you might need while you're here.

OHSC is compulsory for students from most countries, and must be organised before your studies begin. The OSHC fees above are based on 2015 rates. 

Note: Students from Belgium, Norway and Sweden are not required to purchase OSHC, as Australia maintains reciprocal healthcare agreements with these countries.

Homestay fees (if applicable)

Homestay placement fee $250

Your homestay fee shouldn't be paid to Deakin – it must be paid directly to your host two weeks in advance, as soon as you arrive.

The homestay placement fee should be paid to Deakin before you arrive in Australia.

These fees are based on 2016 campus accommodation rates per week, with a minimum stay of one trimester and they only apply to students choosing on-campus accommodation.
