Deakin staff visited Padang, in Indonesia's West Sumatra, to explore the potential for cultural tourism in the city.
The 40th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention will be observed in November 2012. There are many events worldwide to mark this milestone, culminating in an event to be held in Kyoto, Japan.
The 10th China Study Program will run this year during the period of 10 - 29 November 2012.
