Partnerships
The International Relations Office (IRO) is responsible for the establishment, monitoring and ongoing management of all partnerships and agreements between Deakin University and international organisations, as well as institution-wide partnerships with Australian institutions.
The IRO has particular responsibility for partnerships and agreements in the following areas:
- offshore teaching
- course licensing
- student exchange and study abroad
- outgoing international study experience programs
- incoming study tours
- general academic collaboration
- TAFE alliances.
The IRO also prepares credit for prior learning and articulation agreements where these are required by the national or institutional policy framework of another country.
