Online teaching examples
These good practice examples represent a wide range of ideas and techniques that Deakin staff have used to teach online. This collection shows that there is no one best way to to teach online - but we have included some 'good practice ideas'.
Each good practice example demonstrates an approach a particular Deakin teacher has taken to just one of the aspects of teaching online. Examples have been provided from each faculty. The collection is divided according to six aspects of teaching online.
Some of these examples of good practice were compiled while Deakin was using the old DSO learning management system (Blackboard), but most of the ideas can be implemented with the current technologies, and may be well worth considering.
