Clear cache and cookies on a PC

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Logout of DSO.
  2. Click on Tools and select Options.
  3. Click on the Privacy tab.
  4. Under Private Data, click the Clear Now button. The Clear Private Data window appears.
  5. Ensure that Cache and Cookies are ticked. (Don't tick any options that you do not want to clear.)
  6. Click the Clear Private Data Now button.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Quit/exit Mozilla Firefox and then re-start the application.

Note: It is important to accept all Java Certificate(s) for DSO to operate effectively.

Internet Explorer (6 and 7)

  1. Logout of DSO.
  2. Click on Tools and select Internet Options.
    1. IE6: Click on the Delete Files button and then OK; then click on Delete Cookies and then OK.
    2. IE7: Click on the General tab then under Browsing History, click Delete; under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files; and under Cookies, click Delete Cookies.
  3. Click Close.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Quit/exit Internet Explorer and then re-start the application.

Note: It is important to accept all Java Certificate(s) for DSO to operate effectively.

Clear cookies and cache on a Mac

Safari

  1. Logout of DSO.
  2. Click on Safari and select Empty Cache.
  3. Click on the Empty button.
  4. Click on the Safari menu and select Preferences.
  5. Click on the Security tab.
  6. Click the Show Cookies button.
  7. Click the Remove all button.
  8. Click the Done button.
  9. Quit/exit Safari and then re-start the application.

Note: It is important to accept all Java Certificate(s) for DSO to operate effectively.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Logout of DSO.
  2. Click on Firefox menu and select Preferences.
  3. Click on the Privacy tab.
  4. Under Private Data, click on the Clear Now... button.
  5. Ensure that Cache and Cookies are ticked.
  6. Click the Clear Private Data Now button.
  7. Close the window.
  8. Quit/exit Mozilla Firefox and then re-start the application.
