Blackboard

Blackboard (Vista) is the former Learning Management System used at Deakin and has been replaced by Desire2Learn.

Blackboard provides a range of integrated web-based tools for:

• assessment - quizzes, self tests, surveys, assignment submission
• communication - announcements, mail, threaded discussion, chat
• site management - calendar, gradebook, track student progress, selective release
• providing learning materials - create, upload and deliver content.

Getting help with Blackboard

• When working in Blackboard, click Help in the top right of your screen to access contextual help. This provides help with the features and tools on your current page.
• The resources on this website will provide you with easy access to information about using Blackboard.
