Internationalisation

The Deakin University Strategic Plan Delivering Effective Partnerships 2008-2012 (2009) states that Deakin's goal is:

To have an international outlook in relation to teaching and research and to enhance international capabilities and intercultural understanding among students, staff and the wider community, so as to be a university of choice for international and Australian students and staff (p.20)

This web site presents information and resources available from a range of Deakin faculties and divisions, including the Institute of Teaching and Learning, and aims to provide a central place for staff to access materials that can enhance their capability and capacity to teach and engage students within an international environment. It offers information, suggestions, professional development opportunities and exemplars as well as sharing the valuable experiences of fellow Deakin educators in areas relating to staff, students, curriculum and learning environments in an international context.
