HDR research scholarships

Deakin University's Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (ITRI) is seeking qualified candidates for HDR scholarships.

Located on our Geelong Campus at Waurn Ponds, our world-class research focuses on advanced materials, biosciences and intelligent systems. Fundamental and solutions-led research practices are combined to create new technologies that address real world problems.

A range of projects in the fields of biotechnology, nanotechnology, steel and light metals, textile technology and biomaterials are on offer. Or choose advanced modelling (CFD and FEA) and informatics, modelling, simulation and control of engineering systems or robotics, haptics and human machine interface. Close collaborations with industry, both here and overseas, will form a major part of your research and ensure that you are well connected for future career growth. A wide range of scholarships will be available with a stipend between $20,000 - $30,000 tax free, depending on background and experience.

You will work in a unique cross-disciplinary way within a friendly, multicultural research environment. This factor, combined with the lifestyle benefits of living in a major regional centre, will make your decision to lead the way in research with Deakin an easy one.
