Helpsheets and user guides
There is a range of helpsheets and user guides on specific IT services available to students and staff. These cover topics ranging from printing in laboratories to using an IP phone.
IT Service Desk
IT Service Desk operators are available by phone from 7 am to 12 midnight Monday to Friday and 8 am to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday.
This service is available to assist with:
- problems in installing and using the Deakin Learning Toolkit (DLT)
- installing and configuring ITSD-provided software on the Deakin Learning Toolkit (DLT)
- accessing specific Deakin network services, such as Deakin Studies Online and the Deakin website
- audiostreaming services from a functioning internet connection
- mounting and using home directories
- reporting hardware, software and printing problems in the computer laboratories
- reporting problems with audio visual or computer equipment in teaching spaces
Laboratory support
On-site support is available in the laboratories area on most campuses from Monday to Friday.
