Computers on campus

This service provides computers for use on the Deakin University campuses primarily for students and the staff that are teaching them in spaces such as computer laboratories, internet cafes and libraries.

Onsite support in the DeS managed computer laboratories is available from 10am - 2pm on all campuses with the exception of Warrnambool where the hours are 11am - 1pm.

Onsite support is provided for students in the Burwood and Waurn Ponds libraries from 10am - 2pm.

Roving student helpers are available for students at the beginning of each calendar year to assist with the use of the computer laboratories and general Deakin IT environment.

DeS aims to achieve 95% availability of workstations in computer laboratories each calendar month.

Charges

Computers on campus: DeS is centrally funded to provide this service to all Deakin University students and staff.
