Print, copy, fax, scan

The Print, copy, fax, scan service consists of printing for students, printing for staff, copying, faxing and scanning.

Printing for students

Printers are provided for students in a number of locations across all University campuses. Students can print from any printer by swiping their Deakin card at the preferred printer which will release the printed document.

All University printers available for student printing are covered by the Lexmark total care service which includes provision of replacement consumables such as toner cartridges and maintenance kits as well as onsite servicing when an internal error occurs. Errors that appear on the device display require a customer-initiated call to Lexmark for assistance.

DeS aims to achieve 95% availability of this service each calendar month.
