This service provides server management for core IT services and enterprise applications used by Deakin University staff and students (eg. email and the Callista Student Management System). DeS procure and maintain hardware, operating systems, security, backup and applications under this service. Please contact the IT Service Desk for further details.
DeS liaise with vendors as required to ensure enterprise applications and core IT services are functioning optimally on server hardware.

DeS aims to achieve 99% availability of this service each calendar month.
Server management for core IT services and enterprise applications: DeS is centrally funded to provide this service to all Deakin University Faculties, Institutes and Other Areas.
External parties and events: Provision of this service for the purposes of use by external parties and events will be quoted and charged for on an individual basis.
