Server housing

DeS houses server hardware in its secure data centre environments which include rack mounting, climate control, power and power protection (UPS) with access controlled through a security card system. Please contact the IT Service Desk for further details.

Charges

Housing of a server: DeS is centrally funded to provide this service to all Faculties, Institutes and Other Areas.

External parties and events: Provision of this service for the purposes of use by external parties and events will be quoted and charged for on an individual basis.
