SMS bulk sending

This service provides staff with the ability to send SMS messages using a bulk sending facility. It is particularly useful in instances where students need to be communicated with on a large scale basis. To use this service a registration form must be filled out, signed off by the appropriate authorized budget centre controller and submitted to the IT Service Desk via the online interface at https://deakin.service-now.com/.

Charges

SMS costs: Faculties, Institutes and Others Areas will need to fund call costs incurred for use of this service.

External parties and events: Provision of SMS bulk sending for the purposes of use by external parties and events will be quoted and charged for on an individual basis.
