Voice conferencing

This service provides the ability for staff to conduct a voice conference with up to 8 parties for unscheduled meetings and 20 lines for scheduled meetings. A standard fixed telephone handset can be used to facilitate use of this service as can a specially designed voice conference station telephone.

DeS aims to achieve 98% availability of this service each calendar month.

Booking and conducting a voice conference: DeS is centrally funded to provide this service to all Deakin University staff with the exception of normal call usage rates that will be billed through standard monthly processes.

Conducting an unscheduled voice conference: DeS is centrally funded to provide this service to all Deakin University staff with the exception of normal call usage rates that will be billed through standard monthly processes.

External parties and events: Provision of voice conferencing for the purposes of use by external parties and events will be quoted and charged for on an individual basis.
