User account management
This service provides students and staff with a unique username and password to the Deakin IT environment at the beginning of their studies or employment with the University. A username and password grants the owner access to many of the University's enterprise applications that are integrated to use this same set of information. It also grants access to fileshare space and other core IT services such as email.
Response timeframes for standard Service Requests for this service are:

DeS aims to achieve 99% availability of this service each calendar month.
Charges
Username and password provision: DeS is centrally funded to provide this service to all Deakin University staff and students.
External parties and events: Provision of this service for the purposes of use by external parties and events will be quoted and charged for on an individual basis.
