The Australasian Military History Database (MIHILIST), produced by the University College Library, Australian Defence Force Academy, is a bibliographic database that indexes articles from published material on pre-1980 Australian, New Zealand and Papua-New Guinean military history and related topics. Source documents are 14 major periodicals for articles on pre-1980 Australian, New Zealand, and Papua-New Guinean military history plus any published monographs wholly or largely about the MIHILIST subject areas. Subject coverage includes: - wars, campaigns, battles; - defence policy and strategy; - defence organisation and force structure; - issues relating to individual military services or units; - political, social, and economic aspects of military history; - biographies; - weapons and equipment; - anti-war movements, anti-conscription movements, anti-base movements; - civil military relations; - alliances, foreign bases, and military relations generally with foreign powers; - military involvement in domestic or overseas peace-keeping operations; - military involvement in domestic or overseas disaster relief operations; - military history of colonial forces in the Australasian region; and - intelligence services and operations. .
