This collection covers general & comparative law, jurisprudence, international law, religious legal systems, ancient & medieval law, common law, treatises, public and private law.

Purpose of the collection

The Library collects in the field of Law primarily to support the teaching and research needs of the School of Law in the Faculty of Business and Law.
Resources in this area are also used to varying degrees by other Schools and Faculties, and by members of the University administration and executive.

Existing Collection:

A wide range of books, available as hardcopy and /or ebook format, is available as are journals in both formats.

Selection Notes:

The two main collections of Law material are at Melbourne and Geelong, with a smaller collection to support the School's teaching at Warrnambool.Specific areas of interest are as follows:

  • Sport and the Law [G]
