Role:
The Manager, Faculty of Health Library Services and Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus Library, is responsible for library services, programs and resources supporting the Faculty, and for local library operations at the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus. He also is responsible for online and off campus library services and support, and the coordination of the public webpages of the Library.
The aim of the e-campus information services program is to plan and coordinate the development and use of electronic resources at all libraries, including remote network delivery. It particularly supports the coordination of collection development and planning in the context of providing electronic information retrieval, access, and full text services to library users through the library webpages. The off campus library program provides remote library services online, by telephone, and through the off campus library delivery service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the provision of information services and resources to ensure their relevancy to the teaching, learning and research needs of the Faculty of Health.
- Manage the services, buildings, facilities and staff at the Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus Library.
- Integrate the Library’s services into educational programs and the research process.
- Coordinate Online and Off Campus library services.

- Past Secretary of UCRLS Committee - Victoria group, and member of RAISS
- Chaired the organising sub-committee for the combined UCRLS/CRIG pre-VALA conference seminar and workshop

Deakin University Library representative on the CAVAL Reference Interest Group (CRIG) - Chairperson, CAVAL Reference Interest Group 1994-1996, and member of the executive since 1991.
