Registration for obtaining interlibrary loans (ILL)

An Interlibrary Loan is a book/article not owned by any Deakin University Campus Library

Who is eligible to request an Interlibrary Loan?

The Library provides an Interlibrary Loan service to the following:

  • University staff
  • University students enrolled as:
    • Postgraduate students
    • Masters students
    • Graduate Diploma students
    • Honours students
  • Undergraduate students may be eligible - a consultation with a Liaison Librarian is required

Other libraries within Australia and overseas may request the loan of items held by Deakin University Library.

To be able to request all Interlibrary loan items electronically, please complete your details and submit this form to the Interlibrary Loans Service. We need this information to register you on the ILL system. You must be registered before you make ILL requests. Check your eligibility for ILL before registering please. We will contact you within one working day to confirm your registration, and you may then make requests.

With the ILL system, we can send messages to you by email so it is important that we have your Deakin University email address. Please fill in your details below.
