An Elizabethan life.

John Backhouse is a contemporary of Queen Elizabeth the Second but his life as lawyer, actor, singer, drama director, choirmaster, Air Force serviceman, Deputy Chancellor of Deakin University, sportsman has much in common with the Elizabethans of the 16th century.  Like them, entering into many activities, adventurous in war, rejoicing in music, serving the common weal he has also found opportunities to do all this while pursing his great interest, the Law.
