Sorting the books

When sorting books stand in close to your work. When parting the books to interfile another, be aware of not putting excessive pressure on the upper body. On some occasions you may need to move the books in a couple of sections. Don't pack the trolley shelf too tightly as this makes sorting difficult.

Carrying books

Wherever possible a trolley should be used to transport books. When you need to carry books, carry a comfortable number close to your body.
