Library Facilities

Copy, print and scan

• Multi-Function Printers are available at all campus libraries for Deakin University clients to copy, print and scan material.

Computers

• Computers and internet access are available in all campus libraries.
• A wireless networked environment is provided for users with their own laptops. To configure your laptop for wireless service, please refer to the ITSD About Wireless page.
• Laptop computers are available for a 2 hour loan at the Melbourne Burwood Campus Library. Please ask staff at the Inquiries and information service desk for more information.

Flexible learning spaces

• Each campus library offers study rooms for group use, of two or more people.
• Bookings are required and are for one hour in duration. Room bookings will be forfeited after 15 minutes.
• For details on how to book a study room, please ask staff at the Enquiries and information service desk.

Equipment

• A limited range of equipment is available for short term loan for Deakin University purposes only.
• All equipment must be borrowed from, and returned to, the campus at which it is located.
• Specialised equipment to support students with disabilities is available within Assistive Technology laboratories.

Express Loans Units

• Express Loans Units are available at all campus libraries for you to be able to checkout library items yourself.
