Requesting journal articles

A copy of a journal article, not available online, can be requested by Deakin staff and students.

Journals held at Deakin University Library

  • Complete and submit the Copy request form for the article.
  • Detailed information will make it easier to locate the article so try to include:
    • journal title
    • title of the article
    • author/s
    • which volume and/or issue
    • the year
    • the page numbers
  • The article will be supplied to you electronically.
  • Off campus students unable to receive the document electronically may request that the item be sent by post.

Journal not held at Deakin Library

  • If the item is not held in the collection, it may be possible obtain it from another supplier or library.
  • Further information of this service can be found on the Interlibrary Loans website.

  • your name
  • address
  • telephone number
  • library borrower number
  • unit code and details of the article required, such as title of the journal, title of the article, author, date, volume, page numbers.
