Creating search profiles
When requesting an Interlibrary Loan:
Search Profiles are library Catalogues or Collections grouped together to allow you to search several catalogues simultaneously. They should provide enhanced search results. A number of profiles have already been made available to users. The Interlibrary Loan system also offers the opportunity for individuals to create personalised search profiles made up of favourite or preferred catalogues.
- Select Search Profiles from the Interlibrary Loan system menu.
- Select Create.
- A list of Australian and International libraries will be displayed. Select libraries for the profile by checking the box beside each preferred library. We recommend you always include Deakin in a new profile.
- Name the profile, and Save.
Go to the Advanced Search screen, and in the Profile box, the drop down menu will display the profile just created. Select the profile you want to search against.
