Role:
This position assists with the timely and effective ordering, receipt and payment of Library information resources in all formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the ordering, receipt and payment of books, serials and electronic resources by monitoring and tracking requests, orders, renewals and receipts and by maintaining accurate spreadsheets and records.
- Responsible for eBook reader and mobile technology trials
- Resolve problems related to the ordering of information resources by effective investigation, analysis, resolution and communication with library staff, library clients and external vendors
- Contribute to effective workflows and processes by assisting with training, reviewing procedures and the implementation of projects or improvement initiatives
