Liaison Service:
The library liaison service supports the University’s teaching and learning and research endeavours with the targeted delivery of appropriate information services and resources.
Key Objectives of the Liaison Service:
- To provide customised library and information support services to meet the teaching and learning and research needs of faculties and other areas.
- To develop relationships with client groups to understand and communicate information, service and resource needs to the Library.
- To provide training and advice for staff and students in the effective use of library information services and resources.
- To collaborate with academics and other staff to embed the concepts and skills associated with information and research skills into the curriculum.
- To participate in the development and evaluation of the Library collection to support the needs of client groups.
- To promote Library and information services, resources and professional expertise in support of the University’s strategic priorities.
