Journal and conference rankings

Lists of journals and conferences are increasingly ranked according to specific criteria set by a government, discipline or professional group or body. Each list is based on different criteria.

Lists of ranked journals

• The archived ERA ranked journal list produced by the Australian Research Council.
  (Please note that material on this page is strictly related to the ERA 2010 process and is not relevant for the ERA 2012 process).
• Australian Business Deans Council's Journal Ratings List, produced by the Australian Business Deans Council
• Journal Quality List, produced by Anne-Will Harzing and based on Google Scholar citation counts
• ERIH (European Reference Index for the Humanities provides discipline lists, with journals categorised A–C.
  
• John Lamp, a Deakin academic from the School of Information Systems, has provided an ERA Current Ranking Access page with ERA journal and conference lists sorted and searchable by Field of Research and journal or conference name.
