Consultations
The Library provides a liaison service to support the University's teaching and learning, and research endeavours with the targeted delivery of appropriate information services and resources.
This service is provided by Liaison Librarians, including the Medical Librarian and the Law Librarian, and specialist Research Librarians.
A librarian is available to help you:
- Locate and search key information resources, including Library Resource Guides, databases, theses and other specialist resources
- Identify high impact journals in your research area
- Understand processes for obtaining documents not held by the Library, using the BONUS+ and Interlibrary loan borrowing schemes
- Manage information using the latest developments in reference management software, and alerting services from publishers and databases
- How to set up alerts to latest research in your subject from key databases and e-journal collections
- Take full advantage of Deakin Research Online by showing how the repository can increase worldwide exposure of your research publications, and assisting you to submit information about your publications that are not already included in the University annual research publication collection.
Contact your Liaison Librarian or Research Librarian to discuss your individual needs.
