Electronic resources available to Alumni Members

• Your membership will enable you to remotely access these databases from home.
• Access to electronic resources is not guaranteed and is subject to change at any time.
• Membership access to electronic resources is personal, non commercial, and not to be shared with other individuals.

Other free databases and resources are available at other locations.

You will need your Library Borrowing Number to use the electronic resources and a PIN (Personal Identification Number).
Once your membership has been processed you will receive your Library ID card, which includes your Library borrowing number starting x011..... (x zero 11....). You are able to create a PIN, when first logging in to an electronic resource.

Restrictions: All use of electronic resources subscribed to by Deakin University Library is for educational, research or personal use. Restrictions are displayed under 'Licensing and Resource Info' for the individual resource. Information must not be used for commercial purposes or re-sold in any way. Any copyright resides with the original author or publisher.

Australian Bureau of Statistics
AusStats is a web-based information service of the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). The ABS provides statistics on a wide range of economic and social matters, serving government, business and the general population.

Australian Institute of Health and Welfare
The AIHW is the national agency set up to provide information on Australia's health and welfare, through statistics and data development that inform discussion and decisions on policy and services.

Australian local government guide
Publisher's description: Local Guide to Government contains detailed listing of local councils throughout Australia. Included are contact details as well as a range of other useful information such as council expenditure/budgets, population, emergency services and regional industry.

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press Journals
Publisher's description: CSHL journals examine important topics in molecular biology, genetics, development, virology, neurobiology, immunology and cancer biology.

CSH Protocols

Directory of Australian Associations
With more than 5,500 entries the Directory of Australian Associations covers national and state associations, foundations, marketing bodies, institutes and committees. Also included are international associations with branches in Australia.

Ebrary
Ebrary offers more than 40,000 ebooks in a range of subject areas including business and economics, humanities and social sciences as well as science and technology.

Emerald Alumni
This resource is accessed by a password provided to Alumni Members when they register as a library alumni member.

Gale CenGage
Gale CenGage is the searching interface for these databases: Academic Onefile, Computer Database, Expanded Academic ASAP, Health Reference Center Academic, LegalTrac.

Johns Hopkins Guide to Theory and Criticism

JSTOR Alumni Portal Individual users need to click on the "Register" link to go to the MyJSTOR Registration page and complete the registration process.
JSTOR provides access to an online electronic archive of major journal titles and current access to some journals. The JSTOR collection covers subject areas such as: Arts and Sciences; Biological sciences; Business; Ecology and Botany; General Science; Language and Literature; Mathematics and Statistics; and Music.

Margaret Gee's Australian Media Guide
Media reference tool that contains detailed information on every major Australian media outlet, from television stations and newspapers, to press agencies. Over 25,000 media contacts in one convenient source.

MIT Press subscribed electronic journals
Publishing presence in fields as diverse as architecture, social theory, economics, cognitive science, and computational science.

National Guide to Government
Contains detailed listings of the Senate, Parliamentary departments and Cabinet and Shadow ministries, the National Guide to Government provides easy access to all key contacts in Government at federal and state levels.

OECD iLibrary
Publisher's description: OECD’s Online Library for Books, Papers and Statistics and the gateway to OECD’s analysis and data. It replaces SourceOECD, and hosts all content so users can find - and cite - tables and databases as easily as articles or chapters. iLibrary contains all the publications and datasets released by OECD.

Project MUSE
